RED RIBBON WEEK October 24th-October 28th *Red Ribbon Week takes place each October and helps to spread knowledge about bullying and drug prevention by teaching kids that having good habits early is vital for future success. This is a great time to discuss putting healthy things into our bodies, making safe choices, and using good character. Monday, October 24th Wear red, white, and blue United We Stand against Unhealthy Choices and Bullying Tuesday, October 25th Career Day/Dress to Impress You are an original! Be yourself and do your best! Wednesday, October 26th Superhero Day You have the POWER to say no to unhealthy choices! Thursday, October 27th Wear your shirt backwards Turn your back on drugs and unhealthy choices! Friday, October 28th Wear a sports shirt/jersey Team up for good choices! Conferences will be held this week, October 17th through October 21st. All students will be on the Early Release schedule. Students will be dismissed 2 hours early. I am looking forward to meeting with you all to celebrate your child's growth and progress! We are off to a smart start in first grade!
